Brazil’s Olympic Pledges Not on Par?

In a recent discovering, Brazil has not been up to par with the pledges and promises made in their bid for the 2016 Olympics, in particular the water clean up in the Guanabara Bay, which will serve as the sailing and wind-surfing “battleground”.  However, the area is littered with raw sewage and other wastes, that would make it unfit for competition.  The pledge by Brazil to clean up this area was one of the important factors in them winning the bid for the 2016 Olympics.  Can this clean-up be accomplished with 1 1/2 years to go?  The article below will give more insight to this ongoing issue.
