Brazil police arrests 108 in major anti-pedophilia operation

That’s right, you read that correctly: Brazilian authorities arrested 108 people on Saturday who are accused of sharing and promoting child pornography online. The arrests signify the end of a six-month long domestic and international operation against pedophilia in Brazil, one which consists of arrests in 24 Brazilian states along with the capital city of Brasilia. Perpetrators utilized the dark web to conceal their actions, begging more questions in regards to the Internet’s insidious underbelly, and often also used elaborate mechanisms to hide their contraband – storing photos and the like on hard-drives abroad, for example.
