Jorge Bergoglio, most commonly known as Pope Francis has comments upon leaving Colombia from a 5-day visit; that United States rescinding from DACA, is not according to the way that the country presents itself. He said that the outspoken anti abortion that the Republican party preaches is not in line with denying almost a million young ‘Americans’ the ability to study and work and become productive members of society. He stated that Trump should consider the decision to end the program, and stated also I hat he doesn’t know the ins and outs of the program but he understands that it did not come from Parliament or Congress and that it came from the executive branch. If so, the Pope said, the program should be rethought.
He also said that: “if he considers to be a pro lifer he understands that family is the cradle of life and unity must be protected” To which Trump fired back stating that no religious man should question another’s faith.
Steve Bannon, a former Trump Administration strategist, also chimes with very insulting comments that the “faith need illegal immigrants to fill the churches” comment that the Vatican has called “prespoterous and insulting”
The Pope who had to wing through Irma as he returns back to The Vatican from Cartagena de Indias, also condemned climate change deniers, saying that history will condemn them.
